Birthday and Aqiqah

I am now sitting at my favourite coffee outlet, sipping the seasonal frappucino (tis the season to be jolly...) waiting for Tai-tai to wrap-up her tasks for the day. I now realise that the available time for me to update my blog is mostly when I have to wait for Tai-tai to finish work.

Sorry blog... Daddy has been very busy lately.

Adik had her first birthday last week. To celebrate this joyous occasion, me and Tai-Tai decided to buy a big chocolate cheesecake. Why chocolate cheesecake? Coz Aliyah loves the cheese (or so we thought) and Aisyah loves the chocolate part. It did not really go well... we were in the middle of singing the birthday song when Aliyah started crying to show how much the whole thing appalled to her. I guess all she wanted for her birthday is some peace and quiet moment at home instead of some whoo-haah. We'll see how are we going to go about it in her next birthday.

We had Aliyah's Aqiqah ceremony last Saturday (bersempena dengan Hari Raya Qurban) in Slim River. Unlike Aisyah's Aqiqah ceremony last time, for Aliyah, we decided to purchase a section or satu bahagian (dua for boys) from a whole cow instead of slaughtering a goat or sheep.
