Today marks another history...I had to break fast without Tai-tai by my side for the first time since we got married almost six years ago.
Breaking fast or Iftar during fasting month has always been considered as a family affair for me. Iftar is an occasion for all family members to sit together to enjoy the meal of the day. My boss had made an arrangement for some of us, including the number 1 in the company, to break fast with four IRB representatives at MO. When combined together our number at the dining table was 12. The makan session started at maghrib and by the time we finished at 10 pm, we were the only group remaining.
I was lucky that my colleague offered me a ride to KL Sentral for me to catch the Komuter train back to Kajang. Sensing that I would arrive late, I called Tai-tai to inform her not to worry about my transportation from the Komuter Station to our house, as the local prebet sapu service should be able to cater for my needs. Plus, I reckoned that both my angels would be asleep by then.
I should again count my lucky stars for I managed to catch the 10.13 pm Komuter train in the nick of time, otherwise I would have to wait for another 20 or 30 minutes for the next one. By the time I reached home, my three darling ladies had already settled in for the day. I am planning to do so immediately once I complete this post.
With that, good nite!
