Last week I had to go to Kota Kinabalu again for a two day-one night business trip. Tai-tai and Aisyah were at the airport to fetch me up. On the way home, I overheard Aisyah sang a song.."Shanta..shanta..ho!ho!ho!"
I actually had to ask Tai-tai if I heard it correctly and she confirmed it well. I probably should have told Aisyah that it was far too early for the seasons to be jolly, but instead I told her that I wanted to get a petite Christmas tree for her as a gift (with much dismay from Tai-tai).
The next day we took Aisyah for her trial music class at the local Yamaha school. She was thrilled to see the pianos, but not so much in the classroom. A bit of shyness and introvert behavior during the session. By the time the class ended after 30 minutes, Tai-tai and myself decided to enroll her for the music class with a more concrete reason - we want her to socialise and make friends with other people!!! Hopefully when we send her for kindergarten next year, she should be able to make friends on her own.
